Privacy policy

Paramount Beauty Supply Ltd., operating as WigsNExtensions ("we", "us", "our"), respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. It applies to wigsnextensions.com and to information we collect by phone, email, or in person.

Information we collect

We collect the following:

  • Information you give us: name, shipping and billing address, email address, phone number, order details, and any message you send us.
  • Account information: if you create an account, your login credentials and order history. We do not store your password in readable form.
  • Payment information: your payment is processed by Shopify Payments and, where you choose it, PayPal. Full card numbers are handled by those processors and are not stored on our systems. We receive only a confirmation, the card type, and the last four digits.
  • Information collected automatically: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring site, and similar technical data collected through cookies and comparable technologies.

How we use your information

  • To process, fulfil, and ship your order, and to handle returns, exchanges, and warranty claims.
  • To contact you about your order or your enquiry.
  • To detect and prevent fraud and to respond to payment disputes and chargebacks.
  • To operate, secure, and improve our website.
  • To send you marketing communications, where you have consented. See "Marketing communications" below.
  • To meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are strictly necessary: they keep your cart contents, keep you signed in, and secure the checkout. The site will not work without them.

We also use analytics and advertising technologies that help us understand how the site is used and measure our advertising. These providers may set their own cookies and may combine information about your visit with information they hold from other sites.

Marketing communications

We send marketing email only to people who have asked to receive it, or who have bought from us and would reasonably expect it. We will not add you to a marketing list simply because you contacted us with a question.

Every marketing email we send identifies us, gives our contact details, and contains a working unsubscribe link. You can unsubscribe at any time using that link, or by emailing support@wigsnextensions.com. We action unsubscribe requests promptly and in any case within 10 business days.

We will still send you transactional messages about an order you have placed, such as order confirmations, shipping notifications, and replies to your enquiries. These are not marketing and cannot be unsubscribed from while your order is active.

When we share your information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

We share it only with service providers who need it to do work for us, and only for that purpose. These include:

  • Shopify Inc., which hosts our store and processes orders.
  • Payment processors, to take payment and manage disputes.
  • Shipping carriers, to deliver your order and provide tracking.
  • Our suppliers, where an item ships directly to you, limited to the delivery details required.
  • Email and analytics providers, to send communications you have consented to and to understand site usage.

We may also disclose information where we are required to by law, by court order, or by a regulator, or where necessary to protect our legal rights.

Where your information is stored

Our store is hosted by Shopify, and some of our service providers operate outside Canada, including in the United States. Personal information stored or processed in another country is subject to the laws of that country and may be accessible to its courts and law enforcement. By using our website, you consent to this transfer.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as we need them for warranty, dispute, tax, and accounting purposes, which in Canada means a minimum of seven years for financial records. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe. Account information is kept until you ask us to close your account.

Your rights

You may ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal information we hold about you and how it has been used.
  • Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Withdraw your consent to marketing at any time.
  • Close your account and stop future purchases through it.

Email support@wigsnextensions.com to make a request. We will respond within 30 days. To protect your information, we may ask you to verify your identity before we release anything. Please do not email your card number or other sensitive information to us.

Some information cannot be deleted on request where we are legally required to retain it, for example completed order and tax records.

Security

Our website uses TLS encryption, and payment card data is handled by PCI-compliant processors. We restrict access to personal information to those who need it to do their job. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We recommend you do not rely on your browser's password memory function on a shared device.

Children

Our website is intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The current version is always posted here with the date it took effect. Where a change is significant, we will take reasonable steps to notify you.
